Raindrops
a
tiny
droplet
forms high
in the clouds
and it drips down
to earth with all of
the other raindrops
and it falls down quickly
splashing off umbrellas and
sliding down sparkling leaves
wet from the rain it drips down
from the awnings and eaves, it
tumbles slowly down to the sidewalk
during the downpour and with
all of the other raindrops softly
covering the city in icy sheets
it drips drops falls tumbles
splashes slides down
drip drop raindrops
on pavement

umbrella's open...mushrooms of color blossoming on the street...while a misty rainy fog covers the city
