Raindrops

a tiny droplet forms high in the clouds and it drips down to earth with all of the other raindrops and it falls down quickly splashing off umbrellas and sliding down sparkling leaves wet from the rain it drips down from the awnings and eaves, it tumbles slowly down to the sidewalk during the downpour and with all of the other raindrops softly covering the city in icy sheets it drips drops falls tumbles splashes slides down drip drop raindrops on pavement w e t c o n c r e t e s l l l l i i i i p p p p, f a l l l l, s l l l l i i i i d d d d e e e e, t r r i i p... umbrella's open...mushrooms of color blossoming on the street...while a misty rainy fog covers the city
