Raindrops

Raindrops forming in my eyes Brown iris clouds float in the skies And when enough raindrops accrue They roll down my cheeks, not blue Am I, but often long And pine, and hope, desire strong To live the dream I had last night We both together sat upright You next to me, you had your head Upon my shoulder, nothing said My arm around you, breeze blew fair My fingers combing through your hair Then all at once our glances met You kissed me and my world was set I hope tonight to dream again And I will think of you 'til then
