Raindrops

Sitting by the window
Watching drops of rain
Race against each other
Down the window - pane;
I see them having fun,
Sliding down with glee;
Not a care do they have,
So joyful to be free.

I ponder, perhaps it's best
Not to worry about the rain
But, take to heart this scene
Upon my window- pane;
I too can have some fun
On a wet, and dreary day;
By changing the sad to glad
And driving my blues away.

Hi Paul. Yes. I often watch the raindrops as they track down the pane - crashing, merging, splitting, splashing. Tony
