Raindrop
For is that crystals upon the glass I see
Why do they fall so magically?
What's the reason they have come to be?
To be swallowed up in my sight
So enticingly?
Could they be just imaginary?
Why do they linger only for show?
Is there more to there short existence
That we do not know?
Were they sent to support life unseen?
Or are they trickling, descending, dripping
To wash these stains
Fogging up my view?
Or do they harbor a stronger will?
Or is it mere echo's of illusion?
Made so
By my apparent disappearance
Of strict adherence
To my mind you sent all these
While I see you
Wither with the breeze
Splitting here
Splitting there
Every part of you sailing through
This toxic air
But you are no longer
Here nor are you there
Your presence passed by unaware
But you lay secretly everywhere.
