Rainbwashed

There’s a storm
Inside my mind
It comes and goes
From time to time

No need to whine
The storm will pass
As quickly as it came
For nothing never ever lasts forever

Does It?

When we pway this game
Some will say I have It for brains
That’s because I’m full of It
Just too smart for my own britches
Inside I have this switch I flip
Made by Aliens or ancestral witches
And when I flip, I crack the whip
And share what I’ve been itchin’ ...

Life presents to each of us
A colorful array of decisions and choices to make
Some will be good, some bad
But all of them most likely will be sins ... sinful
Sinfully delicious like slurping an endless bowl of PoetrySoup
Tugging on each other's toes ... just letting go
Just letting me know whatcha know
While rain is falling outside my rainbow tilted eyes
Time flies ... buzzing me closer and closer to the light

Goodnight.

I get it, Benjamin, I've been Rainbwashed too! I guess most of us have. But the storm will eventually end! I really like this...BTW thanks for the placement in your contest...I really appreciate it! -Charlie
