Rainbows and Sunny Days

The rainbow appeared after the storm,
I think that was God's truce.

The sunlight shone in the sky,
The sun warmed the land.

The handsome prince and princess,
Went for a lovely walk by the conservation area.

The environment is very refreshed after the rain,
You could see the droplets of water on the leaves and trees.

Parents and children would enjoy the beautiful weather again,
You could see kites and frisbees flying through the air.

Picnics were popular, a blanket was spread and a delicious picnic basket,
With sandwiches and potato salad and beverages.

They all returned home after a lovely day at the park,
Content and happy to have experienced such a happy day.
