Rainbows and Raincoats

Rainbows and raincoats,
Words locked in good quotes.
Hold back intention,
With little intervention.

Days without reason,
Rely on the season.
The world keeps on spinning,
If you’re losing or winning.

Night without dreams
Nightmares with screams.
Darkness seems like forever,
As Fate floats like a feather.

Sunrise to sunsets
Thinking of lost bets.
Beginnings from ends,
My heart still mends.

The end and the start,
Leaves scars on my heart.
M y soul too, needs mending,
As my mind is pretending.

Rainbows and raincoats,
Sweet songs with sour notes.
I lie awake in bed,
As this flows through my head.
