Rainbows

At the ending of the rainbow
Where the gold just might be
The rainbow was the only good
Or so it was for me

I started out on a journey of mine
Over three years ago
Twas a beautiful rainbow indeed
But little did I know

I followed it all the way to the end
But what else did I find
But nothing there; it had been stolen
Oh how my love was blind

Could I for once, just chase a rainbow
And find a treasure at the end?
Will anyone else ever love me
But that will all depend

The next time I think about following a rainbow
To where the gold should be
Remind me the view is the only part
That will be good to me!
