It's never planned to write another But they always come, 'cause there's no other Someone I would write these for On you my tenderest thoughts do pour When I think of you, the words then flow My heart in literary glow To try to dam the ballad spout They'd only find a new way out I want with my words to caress Your heart with delicate finesse To hug you through my writing pen To kiss through verses, thoughts, and then In one grand ode I'd say it all How much I've loved you, long the haul That this has been since I first knew That it was there in full purview
