Rainbow Sighting
Like magic, it appeared above -
A rainbow in the sky,
Though there are those who could explain
The reasons how and why.
I much prefer believing
It's a little trick of fate
Which, after all the rain has gone,
Is cause to celebrate.
It hung there, vibrant, rich and bright,
With partial double twin.
We couldn't look away and others
Shared our joyful grin.
Yet most were just oblivious,
Their eyes not primed to greet
Such glory painted 'cross the clouds,
A rare (from Nature) treat.
