Rainbow Love and Star Light

If I could snatch a rainbow
and put it in your hand
it would be the brightest rainbow
the fairest in the land

If I could snatch a star
out of the Milky Way
I’d give to you the brightest star
with which to light your way

But neither star nor rainbow
can match your beauty true
nor outshine all the goodness
that emanates from you

For you are all the good things
I strive, myself, to be
rainbow love, and star light
for all the world to see.
