Rainbow
Rainbow
BY OBINNA CHILEKEZI
stars in their sockets shift
no bird’s singsong still
and distressed stone terrac winds
fanning downward and upward
after that heated noon
the rains bathe the sky
and the sky smiles
in appreciation
a rainbow
was born
