Rainbow
RAINBOW
Somewhere over the rainbow.
I want to fly like a bird I know.
Among the clouds and mountains high.
Over valleys far below the sky.
Wing span long, I'm an eagle.
Feathers rustle in winds too feeble.
Rising on hot air, circling wide.
On the horizon, I see the tide.
Over forests and rivers deep.
Beween the trees animals creep.
When they see my shadow overhead.
Fearsome, strong, wings spread.
Talons sharp as I dive below.
Grab my prey, they run too slow.
Over the rainbow I reign supreme.
Of all I survey, I am the queen.
