Rainbow

“The hardest truth of life is what,
 Do you know?” He asked.
“What?” I asked him back.
“ The hardest truth of life is
 That we slowly abandon
 One shade or the other.
 We take only one shade;
 We cannot keep the rainbow.
 Not forever.”
“ Understood.” I replied.
 "Thinking about a cup of tea.”
 “Me too.”
