Notes About The Poem

Rain Will Fall

The rain will pour down from the grey clouds above, but I am confident that I will not succumb to it. I will not dissolve or be overwhelmed by lost love. My heart is soft and sensitive, and I am capable of experiencing deep emotions. However, if someone were to leave me, I am strong enough to handle it and won't crumble. I am adducible that the sun will rise, the birds will sing, and even if my heart is hurting, I will persevere. I feel utterly nothing.

We may try to say we are not hurt or feel other emotions, but, alas, the emotions are there buried down deep, and they come out in some form when we are least expecting them. I hope by putting them in a poem that healing begins from deep down inside. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. I like snapshots of rain droplets where their mirrored effect(you can see the surrounding area in the picture) comes through on the film. Sara

I feel strange. I have never known Malta could have such ugly weather.
