Rain Waters My Soul

happiness, has never danced in the rain."

Rain begins with a single drop!
It washes away yesterday,
it is a melange potpourri;
refreshing and filling me with glee,
making me want to dance ballet.

Rain begins with a single drop!
Oh, listen to the falling rain,
it sings me a sweet lullaby;
of a deep healing from the sky,
taking away all thoughts mundane.

Rain begins with a single drop!
I love the rhythm of drizzle,
and the peaceful smell in the air;
the soft rain like an angel tear.
never will I find rain dismal.

Rain begins with a single drop!
The scent of falling rain lingers,
filling my soul with more than drops wet;
but with words to write this vignette,
for rain touched me with her fingers.
