Rain Storm
The darkest days
amazed
the cloud is thick
the winter months seem long
I cry to God above.
Alone, with faith to see me through
another day to live
although the trials and tests are hard
I pull through and keep the smiles
as times go by
another surprise.
A pile of lies
storms and rain
followed by high winds
a will to survive.
As the storms passed over
the sun has shine
another day as I last.
Thankful and grateful
a time to rewind, a renewal of the mind
rejoicing with praise
all others are amazed.
The heavy wind blew
the storms passed through
from the oldest to the newest
relaxation in moderation
a time of consideration.
Forgiveness through it all
rain, storm, thunder is abroad
destiny carries the journey
that time has been established
a legacy of love managed.
