Rain, Rain Go Away?
Rain, rain where are you going?
When I said to go away,
My childishness was showing.
Will you stay another day?
It's a silly childhood rhyme
Which does bely my heart.
To so implore you was a crime.
I truly love you - don't depart.
Pound me with thunderous lighting.
Hold me in your raging storm.
Caress me, your wet grip tightening,
With your streamline raindrop form.
Forget those unkind words I said.
I'll love you more than my own blood,
Until each drop has all been bled,
Until I drown beneath your flood.
