Rain Delight

Rain caressed the trees and leaves,
Puddles of delight welcomed the sparrows to bathe,

Walkers walked by with their umbrelllas,
Sheltering them from the stormy weather.

Nature refreshed by the rain.
The tiny leaves on the trees appear,

The window at home where tiny raindrops are seen,
A bejewellld window of delight,

Raindrops a sign of wishing to see friends and relatives,
A friend faraway whom we might see tomorrow.

Raincoats and boots worn fashionably,
Visits to your favorite local restaurants.

Hugs for friends where we feel befriended and not lonely.
A God that loves us cares, sunny weather will come.
