Rain

The rain falls slow, your emotions dances to the flow. Just like you, stormy clouds bring upon vigorous tears. As you recall a punch to your tummy and a boot to your heart. Every drop pains the masses of concern ever more. Yet oblivious to the rain as they shelter within your heart. Grant them a peak out, with empathy as they gaze. Grant them an exit, umbrellas they shall provide with no hesitance. For the poor child that sits by the road under the heavy rain. To what end will you let the rain stop falling? To what end will you banish the sinister clouds? To what end will you let the sun shine ever brightly?

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed New Year.
