Rain

A clouded mind
wandering the
streets
alone
A lost soul
Found gazing
at the sky with
nowhere to run, nowhere
to hide
There's always a truth inside
of a lie
that a candle
burns away
Tear drops fall
down like
rain
The
Flooding
Creeks
the flooding
lakes, they all went
to the four corners of
the disappearing light but
the rain never faded away
Depression
sunk
in
a given
soul going
blind, a cross
attack from behind
The rain brings a violent
storm and the waves carry off a question
'Are you okay'

A candle is made for lighting and burning... It is through the realisation of burning that we can purify our ego or the self... Well written...
