Rain

Rain pouring, downing at people
The dark clouds close off the sky.
The cold wind blows south,
Sweeping debris everywhere.

Thunders sound, lightning struck
The flash of light and crack!
The rain, pouring, just pouring,
Standing there alone, staring.

The crowds cleared, the rain stopped,
No more thunders and lightning.
The frown wiped off, the smile replaces,
The cool wind blows from the north.

Rain again, pouring down
The cycle repeats again.
There's no stopping it now.
Just wait for the sun to shine again.

jenny I like it, but if I could say, I don't think you need the last stanza, the last line of the third stanza makes for a much better ending..stronger......David
