Rain

i.

you drew clouds
under my feet
to break my fall

only light
this side
of creation

salmon skies
embraced
your tenderness

ii.

I heard
your heart
calling

only love
will show
the way

let us
reconcile
this passion

before
it turns
to rain

and earth
swallows
our tears

goodbye
goodbye
we meet again.
