Rage Against the Deep State
''When the country is in disorder,loyal misters rise'' -Lao Tzu
Beneath the marble halls and mirrored walls,
Where power drinks from poisoned springs,
There crawl the keepers of false calls,
The silent thieves who puppeteer kings.
They whisper ''order'',but mean control,
They promise peace,yet sow despair';
Their tongues are sugar,but rot the soul -
Their smiles conceal the percent's lair
We have seen the hand that signs the lie
The face that mourns for camera's sake;
The deals inked deep where children die,
While truth is bound for profit's sake.
O sons and daughters of the soil,
Will you not rise,your silence break?
This land is not for sale or spoil,
No tyrant owns the breath we take.
Let thunder march in every street,
Let drums of justice pound again,
Till those who steal from from the people's meal
Know the anguish of honest men.
For nations rot when good men yield,
When hearts grow numb,when faith decays;
So lift the word,the song,the shield-
And rage against the shadowed maze
We will not bow,nor kiss the ring.
Of men who sell our souls for gold;
The people's voice is sharpening--
Its truth is louder,fierce and bold.
Rage,brothers,rage,but let it heal-
Let justice be your steady art;
For when the tyrant's reel,
Love still shall crown the people' heart
