Rage

I am filled with anger
All I see is red
I cannot control it, through me it has spread
My hands begin to tremble, my legs begin to shake
I feel like I'm in a bad dream, from which I can't wake
My mouth feels dry and my heart begins to pound
But all that changes at one sound
The sound of your voice pulses through me with ease
The voice is soothing and it does not tease
I can't believe you've returned to me at last
Now all that rage is in the past
