Rae

A familiar feeling has faded into me,
I close my eyes and peer through eternity,
Awakened and convinced that in my last life,
You stood next to me as my wife.
These ties that bind us, these invisible strings,
They've kept us connected through many a thing.
If you are mine now as I was yours then,
I thank you for every minute that you chose to spend,
In my company, beside me
holding my hand,
As we walk together, exploring this strange land.
 My moonlight over still waters,
Silent whispers on soft lips,
I will never falter,
To rest these hands on those hips,
My breath on your neck,
And I groan with greed,
The past but a speck,
As I fulfil my need.
Hoping beyond hope that these ties that bind,
Will ferry us always into our next timeline..
