Radiant Years

The wind blows 62 years of believing
the cat with mottled ears
slips through the rose bush
The child within me
would like to swing from the Chandeliers
The past songstress are a wiki obituary
This was my yesteryear
and the friends I have known
have gone away

I'm wit ya Antony. 63 going on who knows what. My parents gone. A sister gone. Who's next? And yet there were some radiant years. Or maybe semi-radiant anyway
