Racing the Sun

Racing the sun across the Great Plain, Driving headlong into the eastward wind Splitting wide fields of ripe golden grain, Racing the sun across the Great Plain A mile a minute our destination to gain, Arrow-straight asphalt without a bend Racing the sun across the Great Plain, Driving headlong into the eastward wind.

You go for it, Caren. I think we hit 90 a few times on our trip to South Dakota. It was soooo grand.

Thanks, Gershon, but a mile-a-minute will certainly not set a record these days. Did you know the speed limit is 80 is most parts of South Dakota and some of Iowa?
