Racing Emotions

My imaginations and emotions
wander away,
roaming about that
to concentrate on any matter;
becomes impossible.
Giving me pain and
bewilderment inYour absence.

I ache for a close
fellowship with,
You my lord and Saviour.
For I perceive only
dead silence, Lord
Encoutering horror in
this separating gulf.

I dread this moment
in the threshold
of silence that hides,
Your presence from me.
Making my heart
to sink and bringing,
my spirit low.

Come Lord Jesus with
healing hand
Your willing encompassing
and embracing love.
Hold me close to
Your bosom's embrace,
El-shaddai my Lord.
