Race of Mind

Run run racing mind chance me off a cliff

Chase me catch me before I fall

Tumble stumble my mind says it all

Scrap stab shot and burn some pains give a lesson to learn

Slander me belittle me a pain i pretend to endure

The wounds in my back my heal but the words won't I assure

Run run chase me catch me if you dare

But everytime I look back there is nothing there

Sprint dash on the cliff at last

Rocks below in I go to escape the words of the past

Haunting and taunting everything I do

Laughing and lashing both sound like whips

If i could swim I'd have a hope

If I make it back from this i shall buy a rope

There's be no point in running if my feet can't reach the ground

Fair well memories sweet dreams to the painful neverending voice

I smile as I feel water fill my lungs while I drown

For i know in my heart life was not my choice
