There is more said between the lines, my intention is to make both myself and others think much more
Looking tragedy in the face
while running life's race.
Make sure to keep steady pace
as you pass the stream full of dace.
Streaming behind a shawl of lace
do not sniff the handkerchief of mace.
Watching deer disappear without trace
as they vanish into the mists of space.
When finally you reach your base
examine carefully your case.
Now stare tragedy in the face
you have won life's race.
