Quote Wars Revisited

The Huns held us here
For nigh on three years
For which case we've been held libel

They've fired their best
And all for the rest
Including the Gutenberg Bible

As we hid in this trench
The unbearable stench
With Languages long since forgotten

The Quotes which we've tried
And those which have died
Now lay on the battlefield rotten

It's a curious thing
Whether pauper or king
When Hope seems to flee in the night

Without future in hand
We'll still make our stand
And never give up the good fight

The time has come now
To retake our vows
As we climb up, onto the glen

To defend from attack
All those who lack
Adequate paper or pen
