Quietude

A quiet spirit soars into me in the dead pf night
The sky is lit with brilliant lights - boy, what a sight!
Beautiful people gathered around me splendidly and serenely
You're the apple to my eyesight frankly...honestly...

Quietude overflows in me and you
You and I are the makers of quietude's residence
Quietude fills the emptiness so true
You and I are the quiet spirit that soars with resilience

The flowers of spring grow continuously
The sunshine of autumn burns on dreamily
The quietude of winter freezes my soul of serenity
The excitement of summertime melts away vanity

Quietude rushes through me and you
You and I are meant to be with each other for eternity
Silence filters through the atmosphere anew
You and I are the quiet spirits' blissful wings of flight and vitality

The chirping crickets are heard in the background
I feel as if my quietude is perturbed by sudden sound
No worries - disturbance of the peace happens all the time
But, it is committing of selfish crime this chaotic time

Chaos and commotion
Won't take me away from my devotion... my one and only motivation
You and I
Will make quietude a fantastic reality we can't deny
