Quietness of Spirit

I suppose I would be considered shy as I'm pretty reserved with folk having a stammer effect that reserve find it even difficult asking for a coke Outgoing would never describe me even without my stammer, I'd be reserved some of us just like being quiet being extrovert takes a lot of nerve In my early days of life walking down any town street when someone walked my way I'd cross the road avoiding to meet It's always so difficult to know what to say if someone spoke always safer just to stay quiet your word choice felt it was so broke Shyness is so much a silent sound wishing to speak sometimes or not so many people are shy at heart since an early age even as a tot It really is a quietness of spirit what makes us so we don't know but one day all will be revealed by the one who created the snow! (I've written this piece on shyness, just some thoughts on what I think it means and my experience of it at various times in my life.)

Some are outgoing and some reserved and shy. It is all within one's mental make up. It is no shortcoming. Being quiet saves a lot of trouble and is preferable to being a chatterbox who has no control over his words. So well written, Gordon !

Thanks Valsa, Glad you thought it so well written and your summary is so well said but it makes me wonder would you be the quiet soul or the chatterbox? Have a great day,Gordon

Gordon, this is excellent! So many great observations many can relate to :...some of us just like being quiet....Shyness is so much a silent sound---and many more.
