Notes About The Poem

Raking Your Leaves This Fall? Do This Instead. - InsideHook

Quiet Tree- Talking To Me My Spokenword

Midst the winter shine I was outside mixed to nature tide Cool brisk wind brew Raking autumn leaves in my front yard In this dead of winter tide I look at the tree It beacon me As I rake the colorful dead leaves on the ground I touched the tree branch I felt nothing Peace and calm as I held the branch arm The tree could talk but I couldn’t hear wasn't listening? 1/3/23 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2023©
