Quiet Thoughts

As I sit here,
                    trying to gather my thoughs,
                   from a day of confusion.
                  I retreat back into your
                        warm embrace.
                   Your soothing touch
                       and quiet glances.
If not for those few minutes
                           with you,
                       what sanity could I retain.
