QUIET DECEIT

we hide our quiet deceit`
wrap lies in silk to make them sweet;
then gasp when truth, with sharpened feet,
dances on our pride.

Hi Sara, a very wise short poem that explains the frailty and futility of deceit. It’s usually best to be straightforward. May you and Bill enjoy your springtime Texas day. Hugs & Blessings :)
