Quiet Day
A quiet day begins
What things will fill its space
Will the air be filled with fragrance
Of joy and wonder
The sights I see
Will they be colored in beauty
Those hearts I meet
Are they filled with joy or pain
Will I step forward to help
The aching heart, to give comfort
Let my actions be
Those of my Lord
That all may experience
The joy, beauty and love
That our Father in heaven
Has given us
Let us experience the
Love of Christ Jesus
Who gave the ultimate
He gave Himself … to us
