Quiet Communion

Spending time each day in Word and prayer,
Is like walking with a close Friend, serene and near.
When He was here, He taught us how to pray
To seek a quiet place, as He draws us near.
He calls us: “Come with Me, find your quiet place,”
From darkness into light, He leads our way.
As we meet Him daily, our tensions cease,
Our stubborn wills in Christ begin to decrease.
No stress remains - just peace instead,
The strength of His presence calms our soul.
In this solitude, deep secrets He shares,
Revealing how His Hand shapes every second.
He formed our clocks, this world’s and ours entwined,
In heaven and earth, His Will aligned.
