Q Words Poetry Contest
Sponsored by: Constance La France

Quiet

“The world is quiet here.” by Lemony Snicket. I wish this poem to be quiet soft and subtle like a whisper read the lines delicately as if you were tip-toeing around imagine a soft cottony pillow and your head laying down for a rest or picture yourself holding a lady bug and trying to listen to the soft noises she makes now imagine unbroken silence just the sound of your breathing the complete opposite of burning hell and the inferno that tortures troubled souls imagine that place of happiness and can you bring me there with you I wish to be set free
