Quilled feathers exotic 
Quiffed plumage quite unique
Quintessence of beauty
Queen like, monogamous 
Quavering mating call
Quixotic, soon extinct

I had never heard of quetzal, It is hard to write sentences with Q, You have done excellent work.

Me neither, had to look up the meaning of quetzal and read about it, a pretty long tailed bird, the national bird of Guatemala actually but may become extinct soon.
