Questions of Fortune, August 2nd
in shadows birds sing
along a side street
for when something ends
something begins
something begins
a song or verse
in a moment of solitude
a verse
a verse
claims a voice
its own
laughter or plaintiff cry
laughter or plaintiff cry
the morning rises
from last night’s dreams
clouds veil skies
clouds veil skies
a question of rain
answers we seek
time will tell
time will tell
with a whisper
a soft breeze
in shadows birds sing
