Questions of Death

I know death
In a way others don’t
Is it there
Is it strong
Is there pain
When others are gone?
Do we fear
What is there
What we cannot change
Death is the beginning
For there is no end
For a child
Is death there?
A child knows naught
What death can do
Death is pain
Death is suffering
But with death
New life begins
The future unveiled
Amongst our first breath
Death grows near
Every new day
Brings death closer
For a day passed
Is a day older
A day closer to death
But as I said
Is death real?
No one knows
What life unveils

Love it...hopefully when death comes to my door step I'll let him in like a long lost friend
