if no one hears an acorn fall
does it still make a sound?
once a basketball goes flat
is it still considered round?
where does the sun go
after it sets for the day?
where does the moon come from
to take the sun's place?
although everyday is different
sometimes it's the same
but before playing, i must learn the rules to this game
the ins and outs,the do's and don'ts
focus on what's needed
worry later about wants
so uplifting to the ears,
so heartfelt from the soul,
i withstand all obstacles
and stay sheltered from the cold
