That day I lay down with you,
Did you know,
It would be the last time,
Can you forgive me ?
Did I do the right thing?
Will you wait for me?
Will you be sitting by the bridge?
When I join you will you welcome me?
Will you come running to me for a hug ?
Will you stare at me ?
With those big brown eyes ?
Will you remember the times we had together?
Will you lead me to the pearly gates ?
Will you stay with me for ever more ?
Will we walk side by side once more ?
Two friend reunited once again.
