Quest For Dawn
The cold shadows
Cast dark feelings
Over my trembling soul.
These somber days
Bring out my loneliness
Spreading fear throughout.
Searching for a glimmer
Of hope to enter my life
Solitary existence surrounds.
Tired of endless battles
In this fray to breathe
Gasping for the light within.
