Queen’s birthday April 21
Birthday of my Dad the same
And his fourth daughter’s
As is the same as my son’s
Dad cried, “A King for A Day”!

Always thought we were special especially when stuck in a classroom with the Queen up front and center---than Canada was still under the British Union Flag so her picture was up a lot in public places as well. Never came across anyone else born that day we knew so to tell 'all' when children was something to spout about and become 'princess for the day'!.....didee

What a lovely surprise and to think a poem I wrote won and even better than that--- wrote about a Queen and my dad making King for a day.... when my sister was born on his birthday. Best was birthing my son---who was two weeks overdo! I yelled a hip. hip- horay-oooooow....thanks for the congratulations.....didee
