Queenie

In my own little world where I play the Queen,
My subjects implore me, but I remain unseen.
A Queen with no King, though he still rules this heart;
My fears, my shame... Lord! I can't play this part!
Then I look out the window & see that bright Morning
   Star.
As He dries my tears He says "Be who you are!"
I died on that cross so you could live free,
As for your King...well, that would be Me.
The blessings I give you, are for no one else,
Take some of that faith you've for Me & use some
   For yourself.
