She was like the midnight sky On the coldest winter night Not even one star in sight Her eyes afraid of moonlight. I placed a rainbow in her heart But her eyes only saw darkness Instead of vibrant fresh colours Her soul bled black drops of pain. Simple Musing Silent One 2 December 2020

Never ask how a person got to be that way. Life will give you a living example of how things come to be. A precious heart covered in compressed despair. The only star she knows shines in your eyes so keep the light on for her.
