Qoheleth

Qoheleth The now generation passes away; one enters All the while, the Earth doth abideth forever. The Sun comes up, the Sun goes down– Arise! The Winds whirl South to North and then return While the rivers run into the Sea Yet the Sea is not full, unto this place – the Sun. I have seen all the works under the Sun As I gave my heart to seek and search – return To vanity and vexation of spirit which goes on forever. Wanting cannot be numbered like fishes in the Sea And that which is crooked cannot be made straight – Arise! Young One, focus now quickly to see – One enters. All things are full of labor; man cannot endure forever. The Eye is not satisfied with seeing, not ever the Sea You must be solicitous as you realize your legacy enters Your mind, of late; winter bows to thee thy Sun. Cast thy bread upon the Sea Removing sorrow from your heart – forever As life’s pleasures darken – Gone is the Sun And your door’s shall be shut, yet – He enters. Windows may be darkened – Arise! I’ve made my gardens and planted trees – forever In pools of water that bring forth the vineyard – Arise! Of Hearts despair and labor I took from the Sun. Blue Green, Blue Green deep Sea Returneth thee, solace the Young, Return For my days are quietly over – He enters And says unto thee: Do Good and I will give forever Wisdom and Knowledge and Joy – Arise! Labor with Heartily desires under the Sun Take care of my gift, I bequeath the Sea I Shall Return He Enters The words of the Preacher – Arise! – And return As He enters the Sea and Asks, What profit forever taken under the Sun? Note: I was looking for the sound of the waves of the ocean. Jan Strough
